Evolution Robotics™ Names New Vice President and General Manager to Oversee Retail Solutions Group
Pasadena, CA, — November 8, 2004 — Evolution Robotics, the leading provider of next-generation robotics technologies and component solutions,
announced today that Jeffrey B. Sakaguchi has been named Vice President and General Manager of the company's growing Retail Solutions Group. Mr. Sakaguchi
will oversee the new technology division which includes the recently launched LaneHawk™ loss prevention solution.

Mr. Sakaguchi joins Evolution Robotics having previously worked for leading management and technology consulting firms, McKinsey & Company and
Accenture, with extensive experience in the retail industry. As a Strategic Managing Partner at Accenture, he specialized in business development,
mergers and acquisitions, shareholder value and performance improvement. In addition to market assessment, he was responsible for designing strategy
and developing initiatives for grocery retailers, wholesalers and convenience retailers. While at McKinsey, Mr. Sakaguchi was responsible for
improving strategic, operational and organizational performance of a wide range of companies. Under his direction, he helped lead merchandising
and store operations improvement for a large convenience retail chain, resulting in a $75 million benefit.
